Web Design License Agreement
The following is a legal agreement between the client (you) and Sandys Designz . Please read and understand this Agreement carefully before purchasing from Sandys Designz
Authorization:
Installation of the web design on the client's hosting account. The client hereby gives permission to Sandys Designz to access their site admin area and control panel for the sole purpose of installing the web design. If website maintenance was also purchased, you, the client will give me access to the admin and/or control panel as and when your site needs updating.
Payment:
PayPal is my preferred method of payment. However I will accept:
UK – Cheques and Postal Orders (Uncrossed) eCheques please bear in mind these can take 10 working days to clear.
Overseas: Payment by PayPal only. I will accept eCheques, again see message above. Under no circumstances will I accept Western Union, so please do not ask.
Custom web designs require a 50% non refundable deposit, if you choose my layaway plan, please contact me prior to purchase. Premade sites are to be paid in full at the time of purchase.
Cancellation:
There are no refunds due to the nature of digital products or services.
Copyright:
Sandys Designz retains copyright on the HTML. My clients own copyright to their own website content. Sandys Designz copyright notice appears at the bottom of each design. The link must not be removed or altered. You, the Buyer are not purchasing the contents, only the right to use the web design, template etc
Premade License:
All pre-made web templates are sold with a non-exclusive license to use the graphics and html. Sandys Designz retains the copyright to all graphics and the html code. Sandys Designz premade web templates may not be modified in any way. License is non-transferable.
You may not:

Create derivative works from this product.

You may not use the graphics to create new images. Graphics must be kept in their original format and remain unaltered.

You may not use my html to create a new design.

You may not distribute the images and/or HTML to other third parties.

You may not use a template design to convert into a webpage.

UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES MAY MY TEMPLATES, WEB SETS, ETC THAT YOU HAVE PURCHASED BE USED IN YOUR OWN DESIGNS TO SELL. Templates MUST NOT be used for your website as webpages etc they are solely to be used for auction templates only.

Some Graphics have been drawn by me and I have sole copyright to them you may use these graphics for your own personal and commercial use. However a link back is a must! YOU MAY NOT CLAIM THAT THE GRAPHICS I CREATE ARE YOUR OWN WORK

Unlike some others, I do NOT randomly pick baby images from the internet to use in my designs.
I purchase them through various stock photography websites and give appropriate credit where credit is due. If you see a template where there is no credit links for images that are used it's more and likely the designer is breaking copyright laws!
This is why the credit link must remain at the bottom of my designs, this is important especially to give credit back to the artist from where I had purchased the image

I own the copyright to HTML, design and where I draw my own images, I do not own copyright to the baby images they are public domain
I will not add the following due to eBay's policies
No right click script
Floaters - Floaters that appear up and down on the page I will also prefer not to add music to templates, again due to intellectual copyright laws!
If you have templates with the above you stand more of a chance in having your listings cancelled and removed by eBay
so please don't ask as I will not add them!
Under no circumstances will I use any images that are or bear any resemblance to Anne Geddes, or a random image that you have found on the internet, unless it's from a stock photography website that I know. Email me if you are not sure

Technical Help on Premade and custom website design

You will receive full email support for 14 days after completion.
After the 14 day period I am more than happy to give you additional support, however this will incur a fee, based on an hourly rate due to the time factor involved. (Although generally their is no need for support after the 14 day period, as you can see from my feedback below)

PLEASE NOTE : THE PRICE THAT YOU PAY ME TO DESIGN, DOESN'T INCLUDE THAT I SUBMIT TO SEARCH ENGINES ETC THIS IS YOUR JOB TO PROMOTE YOUR WEBSITE. However I will offer assistance on how to do this.

If you purchase a website design to use for your reborn's etc, I will not then convert into an eCommerce site where you sell items from. Please contact me for details. Also may I remind you that the maintenance that you have paid me relates to updating your websites as you instruct me to do so, it does not include changing a website to an ecommerce site. Again if you are unsure contact me anytime.

If you choose Freewebs as your host, I always design the website using the HTML format.
I work from Monday - Friday between the hours of
10am until 2.30pm
then
5pm until 6pm
Weekends are reserved for family. I do sometimes get online during the winter months, however during the summer months I don't work weekends and any orders or updates for websites will be done on Monday morning after 10am.
Frequently Asked Questions
Are my templates easy to use?
Yes they are (honest) no knowledge of html required, if you can copy and paste you can use my template, all the hard work is done for you, all you need to do is edit the text and add your own pictures of the item/s that you are going to sell.
To display an existing webpage or HTML document in an auction you need to do this, copy
And paste the source code (the HTML) of the webpage directly into the description box.
Make sure your are in 'ENTER YOUR OWN HTML' beforehand
Once you have pasted the code go back to Standard and this is where you edit your text
Why do I need a photo host?
You need this to add your own selling pictures. Without this your images will not show and just appear as a box with a red cross
You change my URL address to your own, that way your images will show in your listing. All the other images on the template I host and they will never be deleted. If you require a host I can recommend which is free, www.photobucket.com
Detailed Steps:
1. Log into your Photo Host account.
2. Click the "Browse" button to find the digital content you want to upload.
3. Find the folder that holds the digital content on your computer, click on it.
4. Click "Submit" to begin the uploading process.
5. When the upload is complete * Images successfully uploaded will appear on the top of your account page.
6 If you would like to add multiple pictures at once click the "Submit Multiple Pictures" drop down file, select the number of digital content that you want to upload.
7. Repeat steps 1-7.
Do you give online help should I need it?
Yes, unlimited help, however please be patient if you are waiting for a response, some people seem to think that I am glued to the PC..lol...I, like everyone needs a break plus I do have a family to care for. I will get back to ASAP.
Will you make adjustments to the template?

I will also add more picture boxes if required. I always add about ten as an example but I am more then happy to add more.
Why do you add Copyright to the template?
I am a member of many sites where I pay a subscription fee to use the Graphics.
I insert copyright as I have the right to use them as long as I don't claim them to be my own work.
I never just browse the internet and take Graphics as this is theft and I would be breaking copyright laws as I am selling the template.
You the customer pay's for the design of all my templates and work. I claim copyright to all HTML that I use
Would you add my own Graphics?
Yes, no problem. Rest assured once your graphic's are added I delete them from my folder, I never use them to design a template for anybody else.
Please note : You must be the owner or have permission prior to use the graphics. I will not use any graphics by ANNE GEDDES
Are your templates your own ideas?
Yes they are, I am constantly thinking of different design's that I can do from morning, noon, and night..lol
I do not copy anybody else's ideas or designs, I haven't the time to look and see what other people are doing. I like to use my imagination.
Can I use my template in Turbo-Lister?
Yes you can, no problem
Can the template be used more than once?
Yes, the template can be used for as long as you want it.

If you purchase an eCommerce template, please note my responsibility is to upload the template for you and add page links and categories. You must use one of our approved hosts which can be found here It is not my responsibility to add products for you, this is your job. If, however you host with someone different from my list you will have to upload yourself, however I will offer support as and when needed.
Again it is not my responsibility to add your site to search engines etc, it can take time to start building up traffic to your site. I will give advise on how to do this as and when the store has been completed.
Please be aware it is NOT my responsibility to update your domain name/hosting details, if you should change your email address/home address, renew subscriptions etc this is your responsibility.
